Zahra believes in the ability of sport to create social change and meaningful impact in the world. She uses her work to drive equality for underrepresented communities in sport and the outdoors. Zahra is excited to join a purpose-driven organisation and is currently managing projects with thinkBeyond clients The North Face, Liverpool FC, World Lacrosse and St Andrews Links.

Zahra has worked internationally across a range of sport organisations including National Governing Bodies, charities and major events. Zahra led the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 legacy programme, the first of its kind for both UEFA and the Football Association. The programme created half a million new opportunities for women and girls in football. Prior to that, at the England and Wales Cricket Board, she set up national programmes in non-traditional spaces such as mosques and engaged women of colour into volunteering and employment within cricket.

Zahra studied Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia in Canada and Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of Wollongong in Australia. Outside of work, Zahra enjoys travelling, hiking, cycling, running, yoga and swimming in the sea. A goal on her bucket list is to hike the 3000km Te Araroa trail along the length of New Zealand.
