Karen has a diploma in Management Accounting and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, working her way toward becoming a Chartered Management Accountant

Karen joined thinkBeyond’s holding company, Benchmark, in 2013 after 11 years in the hospitality industry. She oversees client and general budgets across Benchmark, and facilitated the start-up of the US branch of thinkBeyond and sister company Beyond Sport in terms of financial reporting and budgeting. Karen previously worked for ‘Charlotte’s Holdings,’ a family restaurant group where she had full accountability for their operational running, including producing Monthly Management Accounts, Human Resources and Marketing.
